Duelo de preguntas
Duelo de preguntas is a quiz for the interactive whiteboard. The screen splits in two and each team answers the same series of questions at its own pace by tapping one of three answers. The built-in banks are in Spanish, written for Spanish primary schools, but the editor lets you write your own questions in English.
What children practise
- English vocabulary through Spanish prompts: animals, colours, numbers, the classroom, the house, the body, days and weather.
- Spanish language: syllables, word classes, synonyms and antonyms.
- Science: the human body, plants, animals and states of water.
- Geography and history: compass points, rivers and mountains of Spain, and key dates.
- Mental maths: doubles, halves, times tables, fractions and percentages.

Y1 and Y2
Maths, my surroundings and English vocabulary: animals, colours and numbers, plus the classroom in Y2.
Y3 and Y4
Maths, language, science and English for the classroom, the house and the body; Y4 adds social studies, days and weather.
Y5 and Y6
Harder maths, language, science, social studies and English for days and weather.

No timer, 15 seconds or 10 seconds per question.

How to play it in class
- Open the game on the interactive whiteboard and choose the year: only that year's banks appear.
- Pick a bank, the difficulty and the points needed to win (5, 8 or 12).
- Each team stands at its half and taps one of three answers. After a miss or when time runs out, the right answer is shown and play moves on.
- Whoever gets to the target score first takes the game.

One child plays on the whole screen at their own pace: on the whiteboard, a computer or a tablet.

Are the questions in English?
The 13 built-in banks are in Spanish. In the editor you can write your own questions in English, each with three answers and the right one marked.
Where are my questions saved?
In the browser of the device where you write them. Clearing the browser data deletes them. You need at least two questions to play.
Is it free?
You can play 5 free games without signing up. After that, a one-off payment of €9.99 unlocks all 78 games for ever, on all your devices. There is no subscription.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It opens in the browser of the interactive whiteboard, panel, computer, tablet or iPad. Once loaded, it also works offline.
